Ray ( Robby ) Robert Simmons

Ray R. ( Robby ) Simmons 43 of Norway passed away August 12, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital Ottawa, IL. He was born November 13, 1973 to Robert ( Butch ) and Claudia Simmons in Sandwich, IL. Robby married Heather Sanders on September 9, 2006 in Plano, IL. they have 3 beautiful children from their union. He enjoyed being with his family especially his children. He coached youth softball, basketball and baseball. Rob was avid Green Bay Packer fan and was an avid fisherman. He worked for Advanced Asphalt in Princeton, IL and a member of Union Laborers Local 393 in Marseilles ,IL. He is survived by his loving wife Heather, his precious children Candra (15), Collin (9), and Chloe (4).He is also leaves his Parents Robert and Claudia Simmons of Marseilles, 3 sisters Sonia (Brian Kelly) Cooper of Columbus, OH. Theresa ( Gary ) Martin of Somonauk and Natalie Fox of Ottawa. 1 brother Darren Simmons of Naperville. His mother and father in-law June and Charles Sanders of Oswego. Several nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday August 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home 104 Terry Street Sandwich, IL. Rev. Joe Denbow officiating. Visitation will be held same day at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. till the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
