Norman Wesley Perkins

Norman Wesley Perkins, 84 of Sandwich, IL. passed away on August 28, 2017. He was born on May 2, 1933 in Aurora, IL. to Edwin and Beulah (Ryan) Perkins . He proudly served his country with the US. Navy . Early in his career as an Aurora Policemen Norm was a motorcycle Sergeant for 5 years for the Department. He retired after 30 years of service and as a Lieutenant. He was instrumental for the Aurora 911 system in Kane County and also Kendall County 911 system when he retired from Aurora PD.. He went on to work for Kendall County Sheriff’s department and also Hollywood Casino. He was an avid reader, loved golfing, fishing, hunting, water sports, diving and scuba diving, and motorcycles. He is survived by his wife Rose; his son Patrick (Ann) Gosselin of Batavia, 3 grandchildren, Kelly, Margaret and Mary Kate and 1 Great grandchild Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents.
