Joseph “Joe” Lee Webber, 48 of Sandwich passed away at his home on October 5, 2017 with his loving family by his side. He was born on January 7, 1969 to Jim and Patti (Martin) Webber in Sandwich, IL. He married Sandra McDowell on January 20, 1996 in Sandwich IL. and spent the next 21 years happily married. Joe graduated from Sandwich High School in 1987. He was the lead singer for the band White Dragon, and was a farmer by trade and worked until his illness. He was a member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge, enjoyed the Sandwich Fair and was Chief of Security for 22 years, and was on the Planning Committee for the City of Sandwich. He is survived by his wife Sandy, his mother Patti Webber, his children; Megahn, Sara and Wes, his brother James (Angie) Webber; his sister Jennifer Johnson; his Aunts, Penelope (Ralph) Hyde; Linda (Dale) Windham; Michelle Dominy ; Betsy (Henry Black) Webber; Janice(Joe) Sipes; Phyllis (Jack) Glover; and one Uncle Tom (Linda) Martin, and his nieces and nephews, Trenton, Isaac, Maggie, Justine, Jackie, Heather, Philip (Joette) Brianne (Rin). He was preceded in death by his father James “Biff” in 2010, brother in law Jeff Johnson, his Uncle Roger Dominy, and Aunt Sharon Brenton. Visitation for Joe will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sandwich from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kaul officiating.
