Charles ( Chuck ) William Edwards

Charles W. Edwards 67, formally of Aurora, Illinois passed away on January 20th 2018 after a sudden illness with his family at his bedside in Florida. He was born March 27, 1950 in Monongahela , PA. to the late Charles and Nellie ( Saccani ) Edwards. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife Shirley of Fl., Daughters; Erica (Edwards) Hockings, Victoria Edwards (Fiance Justin), Annette Edwards, and son; William Edwards (wife Nikki), stepchildren Leonard McCaw (wife Debbie), Michelle Davis (Husband Jeff). Grandchildren; Britney Gamma, Alyssa Gamma, Alec Hockings, Alize Haynes, Mason Martin, Alyssa Cumpston, William Edwards Jr and John Finley. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. in IL. for 30 years, he had also studied to be and Emergency Medical Technician which he put to good use operating on an Ambulance after getting off work from Caterpillar for several years before retiring and moving to Riverside RV Resort for 18 years then to Fort Myers FL. where he enjoyed his retirement at Jamaica Bay and traveling to see as many corvettes as possible and sometimes working misc.. odd jobs. He enjoyed working and fixing cars ,home improvement project. His greatest joy was his family, loved his children and his wife Shirley who he truly loved and adored. His wishes were to be cremated, Memorial service will be held February 11th 2108 at 12:30 P.M. at the Riverside RV Resort 9770 S.W, County Rd Arcadia, FL.34269
