Francis ( Frank ) C. Peters

Frank C. Peters 83 of Woodridge passed away June 25, 2007 at Venice Regional Hospital Venice,FL. He was born on November 17,1923 in Miller, SD. to the late John and Anna Peters. He married Phyllis Butts on October 1,1955 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Lisle,they spent 51 years together. Frank proudly served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army participating in the capture of Okinawa. He is survived by his wife Phyllis of Woodridge. His daughter Sandie ( Steve ) Marshinski of Wheaton, His sons: John ( Karen ) Peters and Jeff ( Wendy ) Peters all of Woodridge. 5 grandchildren Sean, Shannan and Sara Marshinski and Cory and Danny Peters. 2 sisters Betty Theel of Sioux Falls, SD. and Catherine ( Bob ) Baker of Dundee. He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Charles and brothers Nick, Mathias, Joe and Fritz. Memorial service will be held Saturday July 14,2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Toon Funeral Home Downers Grove Jeff Beverage Director. visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service.
