Maxine Rae Buchik

Maxine Buchik 87, of Sandwich passed away August 23rd 2007 at her home. She was born on April 5th 1920 to Charles and Delia Dickson in Sandwich. She was a graduated of Copley School of Nursing and a graduate with a BS degree from College of St. Frances.She served her contry during WWII as a U.S. Army Nurse She is survived by her children Andrea ( Bennett ) McNeal and Jeffrey ( Nancy ) Buchik. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. 1 sister Flora ( Merle ) Griswold. 2 nieces and several great nieces and nephews. Celebration of Maxines life will be held September 15th at Sandwich Opera House at 3 p.m. visitation will be held 1 hour prior. Memorials may be made to Dekalb Co. Hospice or Sandwich Opera House.
