Bent Leonard Hansen

Bent Leonard "Benny" Hansen, 87, of Rochelle, passed away November 5, 2007 at Rochelle Gardens Care Center. Bent Leonard Hansen was born January 16, 1920. He married Fern Jordan Schubert (deceased 1996) December 5, 1961. Benny as known by friends, mowed lawns and was an usher at the Hub Theater for many years before working at the Rockford College, then RTHS as a custodian. He is survived by brothers, Ronald (Leota) of Rochelle, Il., Carl (Peggy) of Abilene, KS., Kenneth (Lois) of Machesney Park, Il., sisters, Marlene (Galen) Kruger of Sikeston, MO., Jill (Larry) Lillie of Oregon, Il., numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Beverly Kruger, Glenese Bowers, Patricia Miller, and his twin brother Ralph C. at birth. Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday November 17, 2007 at Rochelle United Methodist Church, with Pastor Brett A. Todd officiating.
