Orville Miller Jr., 77 , of Ashton passed away Saturday June 13, 2009 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center. Orville was born October 7, 1931 in West Brooklyn, Il., son of Orville and Emma Miller. He married Vera Ketchum March 23, 1949 in Fergus Falls, MN. Orville was an avid Cub fan. He is survived by his wife, Vera; two daughters, Debra Argetsinger of Rochelle, Il. And Peggy Martinez of Rockford, Il.; two sons, Bruce (Kathy) Miller of Dixon, Il., and Michael Miller of Ashton, Il.; two sisters, Frances Saunders of Dixon, Il., and Helen Frericks of Oregon, Il.; Thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Wednesday June 17, 2009 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 N. Richardson Ave, Ashton, IL.,815-453-2441, with Pastor Dana LaBerge officiating. Interment Steward Cemetery. A visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. to time of service at the funeral home.
