John A. Weatherwax

John A. Weatherwax, 96, of Rochelle, passed away November 5, 2007 at Rochelle Community Hospital. John was born July 12, 1911 in Storm Lake, Iowa, son of Issac S. and Mary Ellen Weatherwax he married Lucille Koch August 9, 1968 in Mt. Carroll, Il.. John worked for Rochelle Municipal Utilities at the steam plant for 15 years and was a member of the Rochelle Moose Lodge #903 since 1970. He is survived by one step-son, Jim Huff of Rochelle; one step-daughter, Pat Carpenter"On the road"; two nieces, Shirley (Ron) Bonzer of Garwin, Iowa and Janet (Ron) Cimmiyotti of Charles City, Iowa. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents and one brother Ralph. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Thursday November 8, 2007 at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Rochelle, with Father David Peck Celebrant. Interment St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday November 7, 2007 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th St. Rochelle 815-562-6872. There will also be a one hour visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Thursday.
