Darlene Brucker,81, of Rochelle passed away December 12, 2010 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center. Darlene was born November 15, 1929 in Dixon, Il. daughter of Orville and Mildred Hoyle. She married Melvin “Mel” Brucker June 15, 1952 in Nachusa, Il.. She is survived by her son, Philip Brucker; one brother Lyle (Joyce) Hoyle; three sisters, Delores Volk, Ruth Ann Hoyle and Sharon Gabrielson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mel; one daughter Susan Peters and four brothers, Harold Hoyle, Leroy Hoyle, Gary Hoyle and Donald Hoyle. Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday December 16, 2010 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th Street, Rochelle, 815-562-6872, with Rev. Dr. James Tilley officiating. A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until time of service. Cremation rites have been accorded.
