Dean T. Van Hise

Franklin Grove Dean T. Van Hise, 91, of Franklin Grove, passed away August 22, 2007. At Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital. He was a life member VFW POST #3878, Rochelle, life member of American Legion Post# 497, Franklin Grove, Masonic Lodge # 7, Franklin Grove Lions Club, A.F & A.M, Franklin Grove Area Historical Society and Living History Antique Equipment Association. Dean was born February 21, 1916, the son of George King Van Hise and Beatrice Tilton. He married Eloise Eber May 3, 1947 in Rochelle, IL. He is survived by his wife Eloise; one daughter, Martha Van Hise of Gleneden Beach, OR.; one brother, Robert (Marguerite) Van Hise of Steward; six sisters, Ethel Voss of Rochelle, Lois Van Hise of Rochelle, Ella Cavanna of Rochelle, Mildred Trowbridge of Franklin Grove, Beulah (Louis) Reynolds of Show Low, AZ., and Anne (John) Bennet of Durham, NC. Predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Walter Van Hise.and Francis Van Hise Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday August 29, 2007 a Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th St. Rochelle with Pastor Karl Sokol officiating.
