Florence M. Albrecht

Florence M."Gran" Albrecht, 98, of Ashton passed away August 31, 2007 at home surrounded by family. Florence was born September 18, 1908 in Ashton, IL., daughter of Charles and Margaret (Witzel) Ackerson. She married Earl W. Albrecht February 15, 1928 in Ashton. Preceded in death by her husband, one son; Denny and three brothers; Donald, Russell and Raymond. Survivors include, one son; Alan "Bud" (Barbara) Albrecht of Ashton, four daughters; Arlene (Al) Thibodeau of Stillman Valley, Carol (Harold) Parsley of Concord, Ca., Betsy (John) Roinas of Rochelle and Audrey (Robert) Onken of Leesburg, Fla., eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday September 5, 2007, at St. John’s Lutheran Church 803 Paddock, Ashton, IL. with Pastor Jonathan Black officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior to services. Interment at Trinity Memory Gardens. A visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 pm Tuesday September 4 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 Richardson, Ashton, IL. 815-453-2441.
