Charles Marshall Henry

Charles "Chuck" Marshall Henry, 72, of Rochelle passed away October 16, 2010 at CGH Hospital surrounded by his family. Charles was born August 26 1938 in Rochelle, son of Joseph Ray Henry and Vivienne Lever. He married Joanne Lamb October 14, 1961. Chuck was a graduate of R.T.H. S., served in the U.S. Air Force, was on the Rochelle police department and retired from Secretary of State after 32 years. He coached little league baseball for many years and was an avid bowler for many years with Ray Kramer Construction. He loved to spend many hours with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; two daughters, Marsha Joanne (Dave) White and Rhonda Sue (Mike) Christensen; four grandchildren Connor Christensen, Bethany Christensen, D.J. White and Cullen White; one brother Mike (Linda) Chunko. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Morris, Garrett and Richard Henry Funeral service will be held 11:15 am Wednesday October 20, 2010 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th Street Rochelle, 815-562-6872. With Pastors Ann and Ken Erickson and Pastor Dola Gregory officiating. Visitation will be held 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery.
