Charles Beardin

Charles”Chuck” Beardin, 59, of Ashton passed away November 17, 2010 at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born August 11, 1951, in Rochelle, son of Charles W. And Barbara Beardin. Charles loved to sell cars, he was a car salesman since 1989, he was a big sports fan, enjoyed boating and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Grisby of Ashton;a step-mother, Carol Beardin; one step-son, Ray Beardin of Ashton; three step sisters, Darlene Nass of Rockford, Dawn White of Ashton and Diane Zinke of Ashton; one step-brother, Duane Baumgartner of Ashton; two aunts, Marilyn (Don) Nauman of Freeport and Katie (Lyodd) Stroud of Rochelle and a very special friend Vickie Barnes of Ashton. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Beardin; maternal grandparents, Merle and Grace Wells and paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Beardin. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday November 21, 2010 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 Richardson Ave, Ashton 815-453-2441 with Pastor Farrel Stauffer officiating. Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ashton Fire and Rescue, KSB Hospice and/or Ashton Bible Church.
