Ina Elizabeth Eckhoff

Ina E. Eckhoff, 94, of Ashton, passed away November 22, 2010 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center. Ina was born December 16, 1915 in Ashton, Il. daughter of William and Tammalina Klingebiel. She married Milburn D. Eckhoff February 14, 1951. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary Tilton Post #3878, Rochelle Wildlife Conservation Club, Lee County Historical Society, Lee County Council of Aging, St. John’s Women’s Auxiliary and St. John’s Lutheran Church. She is survived by Nieces & Nephews, Joseph (Lavonne) Gerlt, Omaha, NE, Valera (Rev. Richard) Solberg, Buena Vista, AR, Marilyn Kennell, Kerrville, TX, Mark Eckhoff, Benson, IL, Carolyn (John) Rauh, Metamora, IL, Fern Eva (Duane) Arch, Kankakee, IL, Marvin (Patricia) Eckhoff, Benson, IL and Alinda (Willard) Holsten, Sedalia, MO; one Cousin, Gladys (Gary) Tarvestad. Rochelle, IL;18 great nieces & nephews and many great-great nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday November 26, 2010at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathan Black officiating. Interment will be at Ashton Cemetery, Ashton, Il..
