Alice K. Greenfield

Alice K. Greenfield, 91, of Ashton passed away December 2, 2010 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center. Alice was born June 12, 1919 in Rural Lee County, daughter of Alfred amd Mae (Wagner) Killmer. She married Elmer J. Greenfield October 16, 1936 in Ashton. She was a member of the Ashton Bible Church. She is survived by one son, John (Nancy) Greenfield of Kings, Il.; two daughters, Caroline (Russell) Levan of Grand Detour, Il. and Marian Asselborn of Rochelle; grandmother of seven, great-grandmother of eleven and great-great-grandmother of one. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; one brother, Wesley W. Killmer and one son-in-law, James Asselborn. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday December 6, 2010 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 Richardson Ave, Ashton 815-453-2441 with pastor Farrel Stauffer officiating. Interment will be at Ashton Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Ashton Bible Church and/or Ashton Rescue Squad.
