George Richard King, 78, of DeKalb, passed away June 21 ,2010 at Kishwaukee Hospital. George was born June 28, 1931 in DeKalb, Il. son of Charles L. and Martha King. George was a long life Cubs fan, he loved food and to be outdoors. He is survived by former wife and friend, Rosemary Rollins; two sons, Duane (Yvette) King of Alpena, MI. and Richard King of Malta, Il.; one daughter, Pam (Julian) Tijerina of Rochelle, Il.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his dear extended family Tammy Rollins and her children. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday June 26, 2010 at Sycamore United Methodist Church with pastor Bill Landis officiating. A memorial visitation will be held 10:30 am -11:00 am at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded by Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Homes 704 N. 6th Street Rochelle, IL. 815-562-6872.
