Dorothy Brett Lampert

Dorothy Brett Lampert, 90, of Rockford formally of Rochelle, passed away June 21, 2010 at home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born February 11, 1920 in Britt, Iowa, daughter of Lee R, and Maude E. Brett. She married G. Hugh Lampert in 1941. She was a graduate of Steward High School and Rockford Business College. She enjoyed playing bridge, golf, dancing with her friends at Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lee Lampert; son-in-law, Joe D. Sayre; granddaughter, Katherine Lee Sayre all of Vail, Colorado; two sisters Myrtle L. Fleming and Charlotte Brett of Rockford. Funeral services will be held 12:30 pm Saturday June 26, 2010 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th Street, Rochelle, IL. 815-562-6872, with Chaplin Maureen McLain officiating. Visitation will be held 11:30 am - 12:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lawnridge Cemetery.
