Jesse E Corona

November 8, 1972 — April 21, 2008

Jesse E. Corona, 35, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Rochelle, Illinois. Passed away in Wichita, KS, Monday, April 21st, 2008. He was born in St. Louis, MO on November 8, 1972 to Jesus Corona-Diaz and Janet Corona, then raised in Rochelle, IL by his mother Janet Corona and Step-Father David Beach. In 1974, Sister Jodi was born, who was automatically his shadow, looking up to every move he made. Followed by Sister Janelle in 1979, who Jesse adored. The childhood memories were filled with; swimming at Spring Lake, Roller skating at Triple R, and bike riding at Scare Park. Winter days were always filled with Jesse shoveling snow and summertime mowing lawns always trying to be successful, whether selling candy at school or thinking of his future goals. In High School, Jesse enjoyed wrestling and held the 'take down' record for many years. After High School Graduation Jesse enlisted and moved his family, wife Tracy and son Jesse Jordan, to Ft. Riley, Kansas where he served his term in the United States Army. While serving his term in the Army, in 1992 little brother Jerome was born, who looked up to his big brother. After parting ways with his high school sweetheart, Jesse then enrolled in college in Northern Kansas. He there met his 2nd wife, Jennifer. They resided in Wichita, Kansas where they were raising 3 children, Jenevieve, Jade, and Joeb. In 1996, Jesse started his Successful Tree Service business, "Abe's Tree Service" doing what would provide best for his growing family. After working hard and raising a family, Jesse still found time to enjoy his love for boxing, which took him on many tours around the world. He also found time to vacation to Islands and various places around the world, as he wouldn't rest for one minute trying to squeeze every activity in. Although his second marriage ended, he and his family always hoped he would find peace within himself and enjoy life with the same passion he did as a child making those future goals. Through all his life experiences, Trials and errors, and right to the end, his children were always held dear to him.Jesse is survived by his Grandfather Willis Bennett, of Rochelle, Il; Father Jesus Corona-Diaz, of Mexico City, Mexico; Mother Janet Corona of Festus, MO; Step-Father David Beach of Monroe Center, Il; Sister Jodi Corona of Reno, NV; Janelle Powell of Esmond, IL; Jerome Ramirez of Festus, MO; Son Jesse Jordan of Sterling, IL; Daughter Jenevieve Corona, Son Jade Corona, and Son Joeb Corona of Marion, KS.
