Mary E. Smith

Mary E. Smith, 90, of Ashton, passed away March 18, 2008 at Franklin Grove Nursing Home. Mary was born May 5, 1917 in Mahomet, Il. daughter of Bertie S. Warner and Bessie D. Watson. She married Loren R. Smith August 3, 1940 at Reynolds United Methodist Church in Ashton, Il. She is survived by one son, Steen (Kathie) Smith of Oregon, Il.; two daughters, Betty (Robert) Jones of Sublette, Il. and Patricia (David) Ewald of Stillman Valley, Il.; one son-in-law Edward Harden of Dixon, Il.; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Eileen Harden; three brothers, George Warner, John Warner and Coy Warner. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday March 22, 2008 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 601 Richardson Ave. Ashton, Il. 815-241-2441. Chaplin Daniel S. Penn Officiating.
