Leona Chapman

Leona Chapman, 86, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Ashton, passed away January 15th, 2008 at Mather Pavilion in Evanston, Il.. Leona was born December 22, 1921 in Ashton, IL, the daughter of Justus Henert and Emma Kersten Henert. She married Keith Chapman on June 2, 1945. She was a member of Manchester United Methodist Church, in Manchester, MO. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Charles) Chapman Rickett of Evanston, Il. And Lori (Eric) Chapman Unrau of St. Louis; one sister, Marilyn (Kenneth) Herwig of Ashton, Il.; four grandchildren, Christopher and Patrick Rickett and Quinlin and Roarke Unrau. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Chapman . Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am Saturday January 19, 2008 at Ashton United Methodist Church, with Pastor Karl Sokol officiating. Interment at Ashton Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
