Richard "Dick" Moeller

Richard "Dick" Moeller, 79, of Ashton for 54 years, passed away April 9, 2008 at The Neighbors Nursing Home. Dick was born March 28, 1929 in Peoria, Il. son of Alex and Mable Moeller. He married Ruth Holmes on September 10, 1950 in Lindenwood, Il. Dick was a member of the Ashton United Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, Ruth of Ashton; four daughters, Lana (Doug) Kirchhofer of Knoxville, Tenn, Debbie (John) Woerner of Peoria, Il., Monica Mangiantini of LaGrange Park, Il. and Gina (Richard) Comenzind of Elizabethtown, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Kristen (Tim) Sykes, Kyle (Jen) Kirchhofer, Jeffrey Bach, Nathan Bach, Libby Bach, Megan Mangiantini, Steven Mangiantini, Catie Comenzind and Dale Comenzind; four great-grandsons. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday April 12, 2008 at Ashton United Methodist Church in Ashton, with Pastor Monica William officiating. Burial will be at Ashton Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until time of service at the church. Memorials may be made to Ashton United Methodist Church or Ashton Rescue Squad.
