Billie Sue Johnson

Billie Sue Johnson, 60, of Rochelle, passed away June 12, 2008 at home after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Billie was born February 21, 1948 in Rensselaer, Indiana, daughter of Billie and Sudie (Weakley) Downey. She married George “Eddie” Johnson December 29, 1965 in Oregon, Il. Billie was an avid bingo player and will be loved and missed by all. She is survived by her husband, George ‘Eddie”; a son Chuckie Johnson, of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter Denise Johnson - McCray, of Rockfalls, Il.; two brothers, Hunter (Peggy) Downey of Virginia and John (Diane) Downey of Iowa; a sister, Pattie (Mike) Borias of DeKalb, Il.; and a grandchild, Joshua Smith. Billie is predeceased by her parents. Memorials may be sent to the funeral home.
