Theodore "Ted" H. Werdin,92, of Rochelle passed away June 30, 2008 at Rochelle Gardens East. He was born June 3, 1916 in Janesville, Minnesota son of Henry and Irene Werdin. He married Bernice Gieseke July 31, 1940 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, Minnesota. Theodore was a founding member of Golden K Kiwanis and an officer of Lutheran Layman League Zone 5. Theodore is survived by his wife, Bernice of Rochelle; three sons, David (Linda) of Lewistown, Montana, Donald of Appleton, Wisconsin and Greg (Beth) of Wickenburg, Arizona; one sister, Dorothy Riewe of Winnebago, Minnesota; six grandchildren, Mark, Monty, Wendy, Katie, Teddy and Rachel; four great-grandchildren, Cole, Cody, Cooper and Maxton. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 5 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rochelle, with Rev. Loren Krout officiating.
