Max L. Schultz, 88, of Buffalo Grove, passed away October 16, 2008 at Addolorata Villa Franciscan Communities surrounded by his family. Max was born July 6, 1920 in Chicago. After graduating from Kelvyn Park H.S. Chicago he attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting, Chicago. He served in Europe during WWII as a staff Sargent in the U.S. Army. He was active member of the Holy Name Society of Immaculate Conception Church and held the office of prelate for the Moose of Des Plaines. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy nee King; son Dick, his wife Nancy nee Dombrowski and his two granddaughters Lauren and Megan Schultz. Memorial mass will be held 10:00 am Saturday October 25, 2008 at St. Mary Church 10 North Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, Il. with Father Dennis Stafford celebrant. Inurnment at St. Mary's.
