Betty G. Wirth, 86, of Freeport, formally of Ashton passed away November 29, 2008 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. Betty was born January 3, 1922 in Ashton, Il. daughter of Adam and Anna Witzel. She married Raymond Wirth May 31, 1941 in Palmyra, Mo. She is survived by one son, Jon (Joy) Wirth of Freeport, Il.; one sister, Phyllis (Donald) Bauer of Bend, Or.; two grandchildren, Jill Wirth of Quincy, Il. and Kara Wirth of Beloit, Wi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; one brother Kenneth. Funeral service will be held 10:30 am Tuesday December 2, 2008 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 Richardson Ave. Ashton, Il. 815-453-2441, with Pastor Mark Luepke officiating. Interment Ashton Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00pm - 7:00pm Monday December 1, 2008 at the funeral home.
