Mary was born October 8, 1931 in Mineola, N.Y., daughter of James and Helena Paterson. She married Paul Shefcik on April 12, 1958 in Chicago, Il.. Mary enjoyed music, arts and crafts. Survivors include her husband, Paul of Oregon, Il.; one son, David (Maureen) of Union, Il.; two daughters, Barbara (Phil) Schloss of Des Plaines, Il.; Carolyn (Lou) Flinker of Carol Stream, Il.; Seven grandchildren and an Aunt to many nieces and nephews; two brothers, Robert Paterson and George (Ella)Paterson She is predeceased by two bothers, Jack and Jimmy; and two sister, Annie and Helen.
