Alex Nagy of Sandwich, IL passed away on August 28^th at Sandwich Rehab and Healthcare Center. He was born October 7^th, 1949 in Aurora, Illinois the son of Alex and Anna (Vermeland) Nagy. He Married Linda (Sue) Whitecotton in Plano, Ill on August 22^nd, 1968. They spent the next 47 year together. He was employed as a maintenance Mechanic for 35 years until his stroke in 2002. Alex was an avid Bears fan. He enjoyed Electronics and gadgets. He is survived by a stepdaughter Jodie (Mike) Beverage of Sandwich, Il.  Two Daughters Laura (Mark) Shaffer of Sandwich, IL and Sandy (Jeff) Hermosillo of Westmont IL.  Five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Seven Sisters Carol Bogard of Crown Point Indiana. Marge Nagy of Sandwich, IL. Georgiana Battista of Barstow CA. Diane (Victor) Espinosa of Mineral, IL. Dina Nagy of Alton, IL. Lisa (Kevin) Nagy of Earlville. Three Brothers Mike (Paula) Nagy of Sandwich, IL. Dan Nagy of Sandwich IL. Tom (Vicky) Nagy of Plano, IL. Serval Nice’s and Nephews. He was proceeded in death by His Wife Linda (sue) Nagy.  His parents and two brothers Steven Nagy and William (Bill) Nagy. Memorial will be held October 5^th at 12:30pm at the Plano Church of God located at 7 east Dearborn street in Plano, IL. Memorials may be directed to the family.  Everyone who would like to attend the Memorial is welcome to attend.
