Alma nació en Guatemala, Guatemala de Héctor Augusto Pineda Ruiz y Marta Betzabe Castellanos de Pineda. Se casó con Francisco Javier Herrera el 23 de octubre de 2004 en Rochelle Il. Trabajó como enfermera registrada en Oregon Living & Rehabilitation Center en Oregon Il. hasta 2017.

A Alma le sobreviven su esposo, Francisco Herrera, sus hijos, Jeremy Lima, Abigail Lima, Frankie Herrera y Nathalie Herrera, su nieto Lucca Tavarozzi, y su madre Marta Pineda.

Los portadores del féretro serán: Jeremy Lima, Frankie Herrera, Marvin Pineda, Daniel Pineda, Samuel Navejas y Michael Cruz.

A funeral mass will be held at 1100 am on Tuesday March 7th at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 244 Kelley Dr. Rochelle Il 61068 with Fr. Jesus Dominguez of St. Patrick Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnridge Cemetery, 8th Ave, Rochelle, Il 61068. Arrangements made by Beverage-Lyons Funeral home.

Alma was born in Guatemala, Guatemala to Hector Augusto Pineda Ruiz and Marta Betzabe Castellanos de Pineda. She married Francisco Javier Herrera on October 23, 2004 in Rochelle Il. She worked as a registered nurse at Oregon Living & Rehabilitation Center in Oregon Il until 2017.

Alma is survived by her husband, Francisco Herrera, her children, Jeremy Lima, Abigail Lima, Frankie Herrera and Nathalie Herrera, and her grandson Lucca Tavarozzi.

Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Lima, Frankie Herrera, Marvin Pineda, Daniel Pineda, Samuel Navejas, and Michael Cruz.

Memorials may be sent to Beverage-Lyons funeral home.
