Audrey A. Killebrew

Audrey Ann Killebrew, 90, of Plano, IL passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024. She was born February 17, 1933 in Winchester, Il to Elmer and Rebecca (nee Hoots) Stice. Audrey was united in marriage to Glenn Killebrew on August 5, 1951 in Winchester, IL. They spent the next 53 years together, until his passing in 2005. 

She enjoyed cooking for her family and bringing dishes to pass at the First Baptist church in Plano. She was devoted to her family, friends, and church. Flowers, birds, butterflies, and the sound of children playing brought great joy to her. Audrey enjoyed gardening and giving away the ‘vegetables’ of her labor. She took great pride in her yard and worked endlessly to keep the leaves and weeds at bay.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, her son Gayle, great granddaughter Karlin, her brothers Lloyd, Leonard, Leland, Leslie, Lyman, and Leroy, and sisters Janice and Sylvia. She is survived by her sister Inza, sons Michael of Plano and Kevin (Teresa) of Statham, GA, her grandchildren Heather (Jeff), Craig, Kyle, Zachary, Andy, and Cody, great grandchildren Michaela (Derek), Austin, and Mila, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10:30 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. presided by Pastors Thomas and Crystal O’Connor at the funeral home and rites will be given at the Little Rock Township Cemetery, in Plano immediately afterwards.
