Betty Jean Bateman

Betty Bateman, 74, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away peacefully at her home on June 28, 2018. She was born in Keyesport, Illinois on March 17, 1944 to Clarence and Esther (Shubert) File. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved crocheting blankets and giving them to those she loved. One of her favorite past-times was working in her yard where she always grew the most beautiful flowers.

She is survived by her son Russel Nolan of Centralia, IL; 2 daughters, Cindy Bateman of Somonauk, IL and Debbie Clark of Soddy Daisy, TN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 brother of Ottawa, IL and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Lonnie Bateman, 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

Services are to be held on Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home on 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Visitation to be held from 12:00 P.M. to the time of Service.
