Cathy Beal-Brown

Cathy Cleo Beal-Brown, 74, of Sandwich, IL passed away on April 28, 2024. Cathy was born on March 27, 1950 to William and Hazel (Hauser) Swaggerty. Cathy was a member of Harvest Chapel in Sandwich. Cathy was a vibrant soul who embraced life with an unwavering zest. Before Alzheimer's brutal effects took hold, Cathy's passion for shopping, love for people, and her ability to bake an awesome Kentucky Butter cake brightened countless lives. Fondly remembered for her adoration for vibrant red flowers, she will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her husband, David Brown; Daughter, Kimberly (Giuseppe) Demetrio of Lockport, IL; Step-daughter, Rhonda Beal of TN; Daughter-in-law, Emily Beal of Minooka, IL; Grandchildren, Bianca Demetrio, Sullivan Beal, Brandon Beal, Tyler Beal and Dakota Beal; As well as Siblings, Pamela (Lewis) Beaver of Bradley, IL and Robert (Angel) Crane of Mundelein, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her first husband, Ronald Beal; Son, Randall Beal; As well as siblings, Sharon Sneed, Judy Buzkowski and Tony Crane.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will take place immediately following at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home officiated by pastor Derek Johnsen. Cremation rites will then be accorded.
