Diane Klene

Diane Klene, 81, of Rockford, Illinois, went to be in the arms of Jesus on February 17, 2025. She is rejoined with her loving husband of 62 years, John Klene.

Diane graduated from Hinckley Big Rock Highschool in 1961. November 4, 1961, she married her high school sweetheart in Big Rock, Illinois. She worked various jobs throughout their marriage, but her greatest joy was keeping a home that was enjoyable for her husband to come home to after a long day of work.

In retirement she spent her time traveling, playing bingo and euchre at their local senior center and volunteering her time at their church. John and Diane moved to Rockford, Illinois to be close to their great grandchildren and made many friends at their Independent Living Facility who they enjoyed spending time with. 

Diane is survived by her children Brenda Beck, Michael Klene; Grandchildren, Jeremy Klene, Johnna Kulesza (Beck), and Cheyenne Hill; Great Grandchildren Destiny Klene, Leylah Klene, Emmet Klene, J.J. Klene, Hailey Klene, Christian Klene, Elena Klene, Leonardo Kulesza, and Harper Kulesza. 

She is preceded in death by her Parents Willie Bailey and Velma Bailey (Thompson) and her Parents-in-law Thomas Klene and Mary Klene (Ritchie); As well as her husband, John.

A visitation will be held on February 28, 2025 from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 A.M. with Pastor Allen Schuler officiating. Fellowship and a light lunch will follow the service.
