Donna Lee Rouse

Donna Lee Rouse, 80, of Sandwich, IL passed away on February 15, 2019. Donna was born on July 21, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa to Lewis and Thelma (Hanna) Jacobs. She married her husband, William Rouse, in Dubuque, Iowa on November 28, 1957. She met Bill in Dubuque at the ball field when Bill was playing pro ball for the Chicago White Sox farm team. They were happily married for 61 years and had 62 Valentine’s together.

Donna is survived by her husband, William (Bill) of Sandwich, IL; 2 children, Kevin (Sue) Rouse of Yorkville, IL and Terri (Tony) Seibel of Columbus, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, Kevin, Ashley, Kyle, Mary Susan, Therese, Jane, Michael, Daniel and Jeffery; and 2 great grandchildren, Emma and Esther.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 4 siblings, Ruth, Gail, Jane and Ray; and 1 grandchild, Melissa.

Private services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St., Sandwich, IL 60548,  Committal service will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Bristol, IL.
