Dorothy J. (Gillis) Guseman

Dorothy J. (Gillis) Guseman, 94, of Sandwich, IL passed away on October 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on March 3, 1928 in Morris, IL to George and Linnie (Satter) Gillis. She retired from CTS Knights after 39 years of dedicated service. Her favorite pass time was spent sitting outside enjoying the warm sunshine. She also liked doing her word search puzzles, writing letters/cards to family and friends as well as collecting unique bottles and antiques. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Dorothy is survived by a nephew, Sean Kelley; Nieces, Denise (Jim) Gottberg, Susan (Paul Dubinski) Manenti, Nancy Van Kirk, Sandra (Ron) Hall and Sheila Kelley; As well as great nieces and nephews, Montana (Thomas) Bellagamba and son Benjamin, Taylor Hall, Johnathon Hall and Alexander Hall.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Linnie; Her father, George; Brothers, Harold, Bob and Tom Gillis; Sisters, Marilyn Kelley and Patricia Van Kirk; Great nephew, Austin Steele Manenti; And a sister, Margaret, and brother, William, both in infancy.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
