Elke Marie Renee Schneider

Elke Marie Renee Schneider 52, of Plano, IL passed away at her home with her family with her. She was born June 14^th, 1969, in Batavia IL to the late Frank and Louise (Preis) Schneider.

She was a Gold Medal Special Olympic Champion, She enjoyed playing basketball, going to Wal-Mart, Red lobster and Denny’s. She was always easy to make friends. She worked for Pizza Hut as a preparation person. She loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her sisters; Yvonne (Kevin) Barnes of Plano and Angela Straus of Chapel Hill, NC.  2 nieces; Pamela Schneider of Lisle, IL and April Brown and 1 nephew; Erik Straus also many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held September 28^th, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery Hinckley, IL. Visitation will be held same day from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service.
