Ernie Sheldon Surratt

Ernie Sheldon Surratt, 77, of Plano, IL passed away on March 13, 2020. Ernie was born on July 14, 1942 in Sheldon Grove, IL to Joseph and Elizabeth (Miller) Surratt. He worked for the Plano and Yorkville school districts. He enjoyed fishing, wood working and socializing. He could talk to anybody.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Donna; 2 children, Melissa (Doug) Ryba of Holden, Missouri and Jeffrey (Dan Hanners) Surratt of Roselle, IL; 1 sister, Eloise Carlock; 1 brother, BJ Surratt; 3 grandchildren, Douglas Ryba Jr., Ryan Alan Ryba and Samantha Lynn Ryba ; As well as 1 great grandchild; Layla.

He is preceded in death by his parents; And 1 daughter, Laurie Ann (1969).

Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Memorial service to be held immediately afterwards at 6:00 P.M. Pastor Steve Saunders will be officiating.
