George Jones

George Jones, 61, of Mendota, passed away on March 20, 2022, surrounded by many of his closest loved ones.

George spent most of his life as a truck driver. A job he thoroughly loved and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the industry with others.

George’s sense of humor and sarcasm will be missed by all who knew him.

George was an organ donor and due to his generous donation at least 20 people will benefit from his gift. This was very important to his niece, Kristi, as she is an organ transplant recipient.

George is survived by the love of his life, his fiancé, Alesia of Mendota; Mother, Ruth of Sandwich; Sister, Denise (Dean) Schell of Sandwich; Brother, Brian (Deanna) of Sugar Grove; His children, Rachel, Jackie and James; Grandson, Jess; As well as nieces and nephews, Chad, Bobby, Kristi, Stephanie, Danielle and Nick.

He is preceded in death by his father James (Jim), grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
