George Richard Sevenberg

George R. Sevenberg, 63, of Ashton, IL passed away on March 16, 2022. George was born on February 3, 1959 in Oak Park, IL to Gerald and Kathryn (Cook) Sevenberg.

George was a beloved husband, loved father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Sevenberg of Ashton, IL; Children, Ashley (Edward Wade) Dering of Lombard, IL, Andrew Sevenberg of South Carolina, Rob (Stephanie) Sevenberg of Ashton, IL, Jenny (George) Morrow of Germantown, WI; Grandchildren, Joshua, Scott and Kelsea; Sisters, Deb (Fred) Knott of Grand Rapids, MI and Lyn (Greg) Jansen of Grand Rapids, MI; As well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at the Ashton Bible Church, 702 Main Street Ashton, IL 61006. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. at the church with a graveside service to follow at Ashton Cemetery in Ashton, IL with Pastor Farrel Stauffer officiating. In lieu of flowers, family asks to please direct your memorials to the Ashton Fire and Rescue or to the family to help with medical expenses.
