George Leonard Wilcox

George Leonard Wilcox, 74, of Rochelle, IL passed away on January 3, 2022 at home surrounded by family. George was born on March 14, 1947 in Lenroot, Wisconsin to Walter Harold and Edith (Nettleton) Wilcox. He will be missed by many. He loved gardening and had a green thumb. He was known for his sense of humor, and his love for others.

George is survived by his close friend and mother of his children, Carol Wilcox; 9 children, Nikki McDonough, Jody Wilcox, Trace Wilcox, Lisa Maynard, Everett Bradley, Patricia Bradley Michel, Kathy Hosier, Deanna Haile and Meghan Linley; 2 brothers, Ron Wilcox and Gary Wilcox; 1 sister, Judy Worsley; As well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; As well as 12 siblings, Gerald, Raymond, Harold, Henry, Oren, Robert, Iva, Elmer, Lilly, Nancy, Keith and Donald.

Memorials and flowers may be donated to the Wilcox family.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
