Geralyn K. Moore

Geralyn K. Moore, 61, of Aurora, IL passed away on November 25, 2022. Geralyn was born on February 9, 1961 in Aurora, IL to Gerald and Beverly (Decker) Moore.

Geralyn is survived by her companion, Paul Gurley; Sister, Susan (Josh Davis) Moore; Brother, Michael (Danielle) Moore; As well as nieces, Stephanie Moore, Kaitlin Moore and Jessica (Joseph Kreye) Moore.

She is preceded in death by her domestic partner, Paul "Bo" Jungels, as well as her mother and father, Gerald and Beverly Moore.

Geralyn loved all animals, especially her beloved dogs. Over the years she rescued and adopted many dogs, giving them a good home when others wouldn’t. Although she never had any of her own, she also loved children and enjoyed working as a daycare provider for many years.

Geralyn had a loving heart and was a deeply caring and compassionate person. She will be deeply missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Geralyn was a Christian who put her trust in God and was overjoyed to be baptized on November 22, 2022.

Psalms 23: The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
