Grace Carolyn Dahlberg

Grace Carolyn Dahlberg, 96, of Sandwich, IL passed away on July 18, 2022. Grace was born on November 18, 1925 in Crossville, IL to Milliage and Fleta (Davenport) Malone. Grace served as a secretary to a general in WWII. She would go on and get a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Elmhurst College, and worked as a professional appraiser of antiques. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sandwich.

Grace is survived by her husband, Eugene Westerberg; 5 children, Raymond Lloyd Dahlberg, Robert Matthew Dahlberg, Dana Ellen Dahlberg, E. Wade Westerberg and Wendy Schild; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Lynn Banks and Doris Malone; As well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, John Patrick Malone; 1 daughter, Wanda Westerberg; And her first husband, Lloyd O. Dahlberg.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 2465 W. Sandwich Rd. Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will take place same day at the church at 12:00 P.M. with a burial to follow out to Pratts Oaklawn Cemetery in Sandwich.
