Gregory Foster

Gregory Foster, 72, of Yorkville IL passed away on August 22, 2024 at Rush Copley Hospital surrounded by family.

Gregory was born September 5, 1951 to Howard and Marguerite (Magnusson) Foster. He graduated from Mendota High School in 1969 and attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA. He was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co., in Aurora, IL for 45 years. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed playing dice, card games and visiting with family and friends.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Mary Lou of Sandwich, three children Jason (Dawn) Foster of Paw Paw, IL, Rachel Foster of Anchorage, AK and Amanda Harris, one brother Richard Foster, three sisters, Jennifer Foster of Portland, OR, Nancy (Tim) Larson of Portland OR, Susan (Ron) Paugels of West Brooklyn, IL and many grandchildren.

Per his wishes, there will be no services and cremation were handled by Beverage Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.
