Helen Henderson

Helen Henderson, 84, of Sandwich, IL passed away on January 4, 2024. Helen was born on May 14, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to Martin and Nova (Allen) Nemes.

Helen loved spending time with her family and dog “Hotchie”. She was also an avid gardener.

Helen is survived by 3 children, Dan (Lisa) Henderson of Sandwich, IL, Gail Walz of Sandwich, IL and Donna (Mitch) Parkins of Somonauk, IL; Sisters, Mary Warren, Judy (Duane) Nuckels and Debra Cantrell; As well as 8 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Keith Henderson; A brother, Martin Nicholas Nemes; As well as a sister, Barbara Sue Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with graveside services to follow out to Elerding Cemetery in Sheridan, IL.
