Howard L. Wesley, Sr.

Howard L. Wesley, Sr., 75, of Sheridan, IL passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2020. Howard was born on August 25, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Adam and Elizabeth (McGettrick) Wesley. He retired from Lucent Technologies in 2000. He also retired from the US Post Office in 2013. He liked to ride motorcycles and anything to do with aviation. He loved camping and would also help out with boy scouts. He also liked using HAM radios.

Howard is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Jones Wesley; 5 children, Candy (Mike) Anthony, Jerry (Lori) Wesley, Howard (Eileen) Wesley, David (Karrie) Wesley and Karole Kurtz; 1 brother, Bill (Deirdre) Zychlewicz; As well as 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by both parents, His 1st wife Sandra, 1 daughter, Cindy Goff; 1 sister, Phyllis Hoteko; And 1 brother, Phillip Wesley.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 16, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Graveside services will be held afterwards at Pratt-Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Rev. Steve Rogers will be officiating.
