In Loving Memory of James Kalcic Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of James Kalcic Jr. on the morning of October 2, 2023 in Yorkville. At the age of 64, Jim left this world to find eternal rest, surrounded by love of his children and grandchildren.

Born on May 9, 1959, in Chicago, Jim was a beloved son of Cecelia and James Kalcic Sr. He grew up and went to school in Villa Park. For an impressive 46 years, he pursued his passions in the world of automotive sales, where he was not only accomplished but also built lasting friendships.

Jim was more than hard-working; he was a loving father who cherished his children, Ashley, Justin, and Braxton Kalcic. He had the rare gift of forging lifelong friendships with many, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He joins his parents in eternal peace, but his memory lives on through his children, his grandchildren Maddix and Lilah, his sister Sandra (Paul), his niece and nephew Stephanie (Jeremy) and Eric (Noelle), his great nephew and niece Joshua and Madeline, all of his friends, and his dearest, Teresa Sadler.

Jim Kalcic’s departure leaves a void in our lives, but we find solace in celebrating the beautiful life he led. We extend our love to all who knew him and will forever miss his presence. Details for a memorial service will be shared at a later date, allowing us to come together to honor his memory.
