Jennie Lynette Bohannon

Jennie Lynette Bohannon, 37, passed away on May 28, 2021. Jennie was born on November 6, 1983 in Rochelle, IL to Weston Bohannon and Virginia (Turner) Bohannon. She went to Educators of Beauty in Rockford, IL and became a Beautician. She enjoyed doing hair and was a manager of Cost Cutters at Wal-Mart in Rochelle. She liked watching reality shows, listening to Christian music and 80’s Rock and Roll and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Church of God in Rochelle. She was especially proud of her daughters and their accomplishments.

Jennie is survived by her mother, Virginia; 2 children, Olivia of Rockwood, TN and Priscilla of Rochelle, IL; 2 half sisters, Angie O’Rorke of Rochelle, IL and Myra Rodriguez of Mexico; 3 aunts, Donna Bass of Memphis, TN, Lana (Gary) Chavis of Pembroke, NC and Mary De Pauw of Winnebago, IL; 6 uncles, David Bohannon, Tony Bohannon, Gerald (Melody) Turner of Morgan City, LA, Michael Turner of Kings, IL, Alvis (Debbie) Turner of Rochelle, IL and Jason Turner of Cedar Creek, TX; As well as her best friend and niece, Angele Villalobos, and several other nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Weston.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Beverage-Lyons Family Funeral Home, 704 N. 6th St. Rochelle, IL 61068. Pastor Duane Boehm officiating.
