Jennifer L. Wehrs

Jennifer L. Wehrs, 38, of Mendota, IL passed away on March 3, 2023. Jennifer was born on May 2, 1984 in Aurora, IL to Thomas Barna and Sharon Barna. Jennifer graduated from Yorkville High School in 2002. She enjoyed singing, pulling pranks on people, looking after animals and feeding the ducks at Lake Mendota daily. She was a loving and caring person.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Sharon Samuel of Sandwich, IL and Thomas (Pam) Barna of Oswego, IL; Children, Dominick Wehrs, Jayden Wehrs and Sami Wehrs all of Mendota, IL; 1 sister, Katherine Barna of Plano, IL; 1 brother, Scott (Shannon) Samuel of Hinckley, IL; And a special friend, Joseph Hendricks of Mendota, IL. And loving grandmother Joan Barna.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Willa Hatton and Robert Barna.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street, Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 P.M. with a graveside service to follow out to Sheridan Cemetery in Sheridan, IL. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home.
