Jennifer Wilson

Jennifer Wilson, 39, of Stafford Springs Connecticut, passed away on February 12th, 2024 at her home in Wonder Lake Illinois.

Jennifer was born in Springfield Massachusetts on June 16, 1984. Jenn attended Stafford High School in Stafford Springs Connecticut. Jennifer married her best friend and soulmate Brendan ‘BJ” Wilson on July 5th 2008. Jennifer was employed at Interior Resolutions as an Environmental Specialist in Mundelein Illinois.

Jennifer was a loyal and loving wife, also a great friend who knew how to be humble, and knew when to let you know she needed space. She loved listening to all types of music, attending many concerts and rocking out just in general. Jenn loved taking care of, and playing with her dogs Layla and Oliver. Jenns local neighbors and friends shared stories and memories with us with special emphasis on hanging out with everyone at “The Spot” a local garage belonging to one of her neighbors.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her husband Brendan James Wilson as well as her Mother Susan L Isham of Tucson Arizona.

Jenn is survived by her loyal and loving fur babies Layla and Oliver, as well as her brother Timothy Isham his fiancé Heather Jacobsen, her brother John and sister Marcy Wilson of Stafford Springs Connecticut, her sisters Kaitlynn Flagg, Erin Flagg-Geddis and Stephanie Flagg. Jennifer is also survived by her father Stuart H Isham and her Stepmother Mary Neumeister of Vernon Connecticut, her in-laws Millie and Steve Wilson of Stafford Springs Connecticut, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jenns entire family wish to extend their sincere thanks to all of her friends and everyone who have reached out to show their love and support through this difficult time. We would also like to thank the McHenry County Animal Control and Adoption Center, for their help in caring for Layla and Oliver for a brief time.

We would also like to thank Kaitlynn Flagg, Amber Bassett and her wife Sarah Bassett, for adopting Layla and Oliver into their loving homes. We are sure both Jennifer and “BJ” would happily approve.

A planned celebration of Jenn’s life will be held on Jenns next birthday, June 16, 2024.

More information on her celebration of life will be made available.

A Memorial “Go Fund Me” to help with Jenns final wishes as well as expenses has been started for her. Please see the link below.
