Jerry A. Leonard

Jerry Leonard, 82, of Sandwich, IL passed away on December 13, 2021 in Oswego, IL from complications of Lewy Body Dementia. Jerry was born on December 5, 1939 in Sandwich, IL, the son of Evelyn and Raymond Leonard.

Jerry lived his entire life in the Millington and Sandwich area. He graduated from Sandwich High School in 1957 and was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Company in Aurora, IL. He retired in 1996 after 38 years and ended his career as General Supervisor of the Toolroom. Jerry was a longtime member of the Federated Church of Sandwich.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Donna (Oddson); his children, Jean (Richard) Holland, Robert (Kristin) Leonard, and Nancy McParlane (Steve Coleman); Along with 6 grandchildren and their spouses and partners; 1 great grandchild; His sister, Cheryl (Leonard) Buick; Brother-in-law, Michael (Debra) Marcelain; As well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Debra.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry Street, Sandwich, IL 60548. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M.
